Siege Break: a free Rampart-style castle game to play with friends online
Siege Break is a tribute to the arcade classic Rampart, rebuilt for the browser and for a lot more players. Everyone gets a keep on their own island. Wall it in, set down catapults, smash your friends' walls, then race the clock to patch the holes before the next round.
The original topped out at three players. Siege Break takes up to nine, so a whole Discord call can play in one match. Host a game, send everyone a 5-letter code, and any empty seats fill with bots.
How a round works
How to play Siege Break
Build
A palisade goes up around the keep you pick. Wall in more keeps to grow your castle.
Arm
Set down catapults inside your walls. Every keep you hold earns more of them.
Battle
Lob stones at everyone else's walls. The bigger the holes, the harder their rebuild.
Rebuild
Patch the gaps with falling-block pieces before the timer runs out. Close the loop or you're conquered.

Can I play Rampart online for free?
Siege Break plays the same build, battle, rebuild loop as Rampart, free in your browser, with up to 9 players instead of 3. It's a fan-made tribute and isn't affiliated with the original.
How many people can play Siege Break?
2 to 9 players in one game. If you don't have enough friends online, bots fill the empty seats.
Do I need to download anything?
No. Open iolegends.com/siegebreak, host a game and send your friends the code. It runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Can I play it on a Discord call?
Yes, that's the best way. One person hosts, drops the code in the chat, and everyone joins from their own computer while you talk on Discord.
